This is an easy project which allows for the beauty of the leather cord and the colors of the yarn to be featured. Gauge does not have to be worked out beforehand.
Row 1: just space the sc stitches ½ to 3/4 inches apart on the cord and work from one end to the other. (dc, ch6) If they are too close together the work will ruffle instead of laying flat. Reverse work. Row 2: (2 sc, 6 dc, 2 sc) in each ch 6 loop. Iron the scallops to make them lie flat or just wet and dry flat.
